Restoration & Preparation

Once payment is received, your knife will undergo a final inspection and full restoration (where required). Each knife is carefully prepared to ensure structural integrity and optimal functional performance. The knife will then be securely packaged in a protective wooden presentation box prior to shipment. Orders are typically dispatched within 1–2 business days following payment confirmation and completion of restoration.

International Shipping

Shipping tracking details will be provided once the order has been dispatched. We ship worldwide.

All import duties, customs charges, VAT, sales taxes, or other local fees imposed by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Pastknife has no control over such charges and cannot estimate their amount.

Risk of loss or damage transfers to the purchaser upon delivery of the shipment to the carrier. Past Knife shall not be liable for customs delays, inspections, carrier disruptions, or delivery issues beyond our reasonable control.

Terms & Conditions

Vintage Condition

All knives sold by Past Knife are genuine vintage Japanese blades. As such, they may exhibit natural signs of age, previous use, and historical craftsmanship. Patina development, sharpening marks, minor surface imperfections, small irregularities in finish, and natural variations in handle materials are considered normal characteristics of vintage knives and do not constitute defects.

By placing an order, the purchaser acknowledges and accepts these characteristics as part of the knife’s authenticity and value. All knives are sold as described.
